  • Uploads & analysis data: files you upload, file metadata (e.g., filename, size, hashes), automated analysis output, and timestamps.
  • Usage data: IP address, device/browser info, pages visited, and actions performed (for fraud/security and service improvement).
  • Support: information you send us by email or forms.

How we use data

  • To operate, secure, and improve the analysis service.
  • To show analysis results to you (and if you opt in, to others you share a link with).
  • To prevent abuse (malware distribution, account takeovers, spam).
  • To comply with law and enforce our Terms.

We process data to perform our contract with you (run the service), for our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, debugging), and to meet legal obligations. Where required, we will ask for your consent (e.g., certain cookies).

Where we store and process

We host in AWS (primarily us‑east‑1) using services like S3, SQS/SNS, RDS/Postgres, and CloudWatch. Third‑party processors act under contract and do not sell your data.

Retention

Analysis results & metadata: retained for your account history; we may keep derived, non‑identifying statistics longer.

Audit/security logs:

Retain Security logs for 9 months.
We’ll delete or de‑identify data when no longer needed for these purposes.

Your rights

Depending on your location: access, correct, delete, and portability rights. Request at privacy@vileanalyziz.com. We may verify identity before acting.

Security

Encryption in transit and at rest; access controls; least‑privilege; routine patching; monitoring and logging. No method is 100% secure.

Changes

We’ll update this page when practices change and indicate the effective date.
